Sales and Business Development:
- Lead the charge by developing and executing a strategic sales plan that propels the growth of commercial vehicle sales across your territory, maximizing market reach and driving revenue.
- Identify and target high-value customer segments, including businesses, contractors, and fleet owners, to build strong, profitable relationships and expand the customer base.
- Conduct in-depth market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and competitor dynamics, ensuring you’re always one step ahead.
- Build a solid sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, lead qualification, and conversion into high-value sales opportunities.
- Partner with the RVP and marketing team to design and launch effective promotional strategies, campaigns, and sales initiatives.
- Deliver hands-on product demonstrations, taking vehicles to customer locations for detailed walk-arounds and real-world, on-the-job showcases.
Relationship Management:
- Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, dealers, and industry influencers, to create a loyal and growing client base.
- Serve as the go-to point of contact for all customers within your territory, providing exceptional service, answering inquiries, and fostering loyalty.
- Engage customers with regular meetings, product demos, and training sessions, ensuring their satisfaction and securing repeat business.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to increase customer value, bringing additional products and services that meet their evolving needs.
Sales Performance and Reporting:
- Consistently exceed sales targets by hitting and surpassing quarterly and annual revenue goals.
- Track and manage sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress using HubSpot CRM and other tools, ensuring no opportunity is missed.
- Deliver accurate and timely reports, forecasts, and market insights to sales leadership, providing actionable data that drives business decisions.
- Stay ahead of market trends and customer feedback to continuously refine strategies, improve performance, and uncover new growth opportunities.
Position Requirements:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred, but we value experience and results over formal credentials.
- Sales Experience: 2-5 years of proven success in B2B territory sales. Experience in the commercial vehicle industry is ideal, though expertise in related fields will also be considered.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: You’ll need a strong drive to take ownership and build a successful sales territory from the ground up, thriving on autonomy and results.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills are essential for connecting with clients, understanding their needs, and closing deals.
- Negotiation and Closing: A proven ability to negotiate and close sales while fostering long-term, trustworthy customer relationships is key to your success.
- Self-Starter: You should be self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision, managing your territory effectively.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in CRM software (HubSpot), MS Office, and other sales tools is required. You should also be comfortable using MS Teams and Zoom for virtual meetings with internal teams and clients.
- Travel Requirements: A valid driver’s license and the willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory for face-to-face sales calls is essential.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods in a typical office environment.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and lift at least 25 lbs when necessary.
- Occasionally, climbing stairs may be required.
